Epic Universe’s $179 After-Hours Event Struggles to Sell Out Compared to Disney’s Popular Events

Universal Orlando’s $179 Epic Universe Event Fails to Sell Out, Unlike Disney World Parties Best for a direct, competitive headline with the price and Disney comparison.

Visiting a theme park at night can provide a unique atmosphere, with reduced crowds and a fresh perspective on attractions illuminated by nighttime lighting. Universal Orlando Resort aims to offer this experience through a limited-capacity after-hours event at Epic Universe, allowing guests to navigate the park’s five themed areas with fewer visitors. The event features special entertainment, snacks, and other perks not available during standard hours.

However, in stark contrast to Disney’s frequent sellouts for their special nighttime events, both remaining Universal Nights in November still have tickets available. This raises questions about guest interest in such a premium nighttime experience at Epic Universe, which has been open since May 2025. Despite one sold-out night on October 17, ongoing availability suggests Universal is still building its reputation for after-hours events capable of enticing families willing to pay the price—$179 per person plus tax.
