This week marks the beginning of early voting in Florida for the upcoming 2026 General Election.

Early voting begins in Central Florida: When and where you can vote

This week marks the beginning of early voting in Florida for the upcoming 2026 General Election. Some counties will commence early voting on Monday, while others will start on Tuesday. If you’re unsure about your voter registration status, you can verify it online at registertovoteflorida.gov. Remember, the deadline to register was October 5.

For those considering mail-in voting, requests for ballots must be submitted by October 22. Be sure to return your completed ballot to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 3, in order for it to be counted.

Counties throughout Central Florida will offer several early voting sites for residents. Brevard County will have locations open from October 19 to October 31, while Flagler, Lake, and Marion Counties will also offer early voting during similar timeframes. Additionally, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia Counties will provide early voting opportunities until November 1.
