Central Florida Veg Fest Promotes Plant-Based Eating This Weekend

Get ready for the 21st edition of Central Florida Veg Fest, taking place at Festival Park, where the focus is on celebrating plant-based cuisine. With over 200 vendors, the event promises a diverse menu that includes vegan empanadas, mushroom ‘chicken’ sandwiches, and dairy-free ice cream. You don’t need to be a vegetarian to enjoy the festivities!

The festival also aims to raise awareness about sustainability, animal welfare, and the environmental effects of our food choices. Attendees can look forward to cooking demonstrations, live music, yoga sessions, and discussions with speakers from various community organizations. There will be an Animal Haven featuring local rescue groups, and an Ask-A-Vegan tent for those curious about plant-based living.
