Closure of Solita Tacos in Downtown Orlando

Solita Tacos & Margaritas has officially closed its restaurant located at 222 S. Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando, marking the end of nearly four years in business.

The eatery, situated on the ground floor of The Exchange on Orange building near Church Street, ceased operations on Friday, October 23. Originally launched in December 2022, Solita took over the previous Wahlburgers space, known for its Baja-inspired tacos, wood-grilled meats, and a weekend brunch.

This closure follows another abrupt shutdown at a Solita location in Santa Clarita, California, which closed during lunch service on October 22 and was cleared out by the next morning. Both establishments are under the Xperience Restaurant Group, which manages other brands like El Torito and Chevys Fresh Mex. No reasons for the closures have been provided, and the Solita website now lists only its Huntington Beach, California location.
