Disney World Announces Significant Update for Travelers Arriving at MCO

In the past, the journey from Orlando International Airport to a Disney Resort hotel was seamless, thanks to Disney’s Magical Express, which facilitated luggage handling. However, after the demise of Magical Express in early 2022, guests had to take charge of their luggage and transportation.
Recently, Disney has taken steps to improve this situation. Over the past year and a half, the Airport Luggage Transfer service has returned, including three new Moderate Resorts, bringing the total participating hotels to nine. The recent additions are Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside. Now, all Moderate Resorts feature this service, a welcome return for families looking for an easier travel experience.
This Airport Luggage Transfer, which began as a pilot program in April 2025, allows eligible guests to skip baggage claim and enjoy a more seamless journey to their accommodations.
