Orlando’s Orange Blossom Trail Shares New Compilation of Singles

Orange Blossom Trail, a band that has quietly existed in the Orlando music landscape for four years, is looking to capture more attention with their latest release. The septet, composed of Christian Moyers (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Gray Castro (lead guitar), Jonath Chuck (lead guitar), Gabe Gutiérrez (bass), Joel Nieves (vocals, synth), Toni Carbello (backup vocals) and AJ Brand (drums), has primarily been performing on small stages and has not garnered the recognition that many believe they deserve.

Their new compilation, You’re Onto Something, includes all their previous singles and showcases an inviting and accessible sound. Featuring infectious power-pop melodies and an emo influence reminiscent of indie rock’s Midwest scene, it includes standout tracks like “I Hope This Email Kills Us Both” and “It Says ‘Husky’ On My Jeans.” The compilation captures the essence of a band ready to step into the spotlight, coinciding with the preparation for their upcoming debut album, God, Why Do You Give Us Your Emptiest Shows? For You, My Sons, Are My Localest Band, scheduled for release in January. You’re Onto Something is available digitally on Bandcamp and on CD at their live shows, including their upcoming appearance to open for Ian McConnell at Will’s Pub on October 22.
