A Florida family is heartbroken after three of their adult children died in a tragic vehicle accident on the Florida Turnpike. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Friday night near mile marker 252. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a Road Ranger was aiding a disabled box truck when a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse struck it. Reports indicate that the Traverse’s driver may have been driving at high speeds and without headlights, leading to a collision that caused both vehicles to veer off the road and the Traverse to catch fire, resulting in the death of all six people inside.
Marshall Clarke-Milton shared her anguish with FOX 35, recounting how she intuitively sensed something had gone wrong that night. Upon contacting authorities, she learned that her adult children—Charles, Jakara, and Dalvena—were among the victims. All six were en route to Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights. As the family seeks answers, they are questioning the FHP’s narrative and calling for further investigation into the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will also be probing the incident, focusing on safety issues including the performance of the roadside assistance vehicle and the actions of the SUV driver.
