Universal Orlando Announces Temporary Closure of Hogwarts Express on November 4

For many enthusiasts of the Harry Potter series, the journey via the Hogwarts Express between themed areas is an integral part of the experience. Travelers enjoy passing through King’s Cross Station and arriving at the picturesque village located beneath Hogwarts Castle. This method of transport serves not just as convenience but also as a unique aspect of their visit, making the more flexible ticket options especially appealing.

Universal Orlando has confirmed that the Hogwarts Express will close temporarily on November 4, 2026, with a scheduled reopening on November 5. Guests are encouraged to verify attraction status prior to their visit, as schedules are subject to change. Despite the closure, guests can still cross between the parks using regular entrances. However, they will miss the themed train experience if the closure occurs as planned.
